I am very optimistic about what is happening on Clematis Street. The new restaurants that have opened on the 200 block this year have been extremely successful. Rocco's Tacos, Clematis Social, and Grease Burger Bar are always packed! And the trolley that takes people from this block back and forth to City Place seems to carry more people than ever. The future looks even brighter, with the new City Center scheduled to open up this month on the 400 block, along with the new library, which will really help the 300 and 500 blocks. By year-end, the spectacular Clematis waterfront project will be done, attracting even more people to the 100 and waterfront blocks.
